Ian is an Associate in our Rural Land & Business team based in our Aberdeen and Thainstone offices. 

Ian deals with all aspects of rural property from the sale and acquisition of farms, agricultural land, estates, forests and country houses and related security work.  

Ian also advises on renewables projects and farm business succession planning matters in conjunction with the firm’s Private Client and Corporate and Commercial teams.

Ian is a part-time livestock farmer and takes a keen interest in all agricultural matters, understanding the challenges that face many of our clients in the rural sector.
