Problem: you don’t know how to prepare for the new duty to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace

Solutionjoin Donna, on Teams, on Wednesday 22nd May, 9.00 – 10.00am, where she’ll talk you through what you need to do.

From 25th October 2024:

  • All employers will have a legal proactive duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment.
  • If an employee makes a successful claim for sexual harassment and the employer is found to have breached the new duty, an employment tribunal can increase any compensation award by up to 25%.
  • The duty can be enforced by the Equality and Human Rights Commission using its existing powers of enforcement, including investigations.

If you are:

  • unsure about what counts as sexual harassment in the workplace;
  • unclear about what “reasonable steps” means;
  • worried about how to properly investigate complaints of sexual harassment and taking action;
  • or simply wanting to reassure yourself that your preparations are well on track –

then this webinar is for you.
